We recognise that clients demand specialist knowledge from barristers who are technically astute, excellent in court and aware of wider commercial issues and personable.
St Philips Chambers are delighted to announce that Ben Clayton has joined their Personal Injury Team for a third six.
Since being called to the bar in 2009, Benjamin has gained a wealth of experience representing clients across the country. He has attended over 5000 hearings, giving him a solid grounding in civil litigation.
He can be instructed in respect of a wide range of matters, often at short notice. He is able to quickly grasp the salient points and formulate strong, effective submissions.
In addition to strong advocacy skills, he is extremely proficient at legal research, having worked for LexisNexis training other legal professionals. He is developing his paperwork practice and accepts instructions to advise and draft at all stages of proceedings.
Benjamin is an approachable and client-focused individual, who is able to develop a good rapport with both lay and professional clients, as well as Judges.
Andrew Evans, head of the Personal Injury Group, welcomes Benjamin and said “I am very pleased that an advocate as experienced and able as Benjamin has chosen to further his career with us and I have no doubt that he will go on to great things”.
