We are delighted to announce that four members of Chambers have been appointed Recorders.

Andrew Charman, Tom Walkling, Ben Williams and Jack Redmond have all been appointed by The Queen, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

They have all been deployed to the Midlands Circuit and they will sit in their respective practice areas of Civil (Andrew Charman), Crime (Tom Walkling & Ben Williams) and Family (Jack Redmond).

Chambers Director, Joe Wilson said: “I would like to congratulate all 4 Recorders on their richly deserved appointments. The competition is fierce and they are amongst only 118 appointments made nationally. We are very proud of them and wish them every success in their new part-time roles.

Their appointments will take effect from 12th October and brings the total number of members of Chambers with part-time judicial appointments to 20, further cementing our reputation as having the very best of legal expertise across a variety of specialisms.
