Andrew Lockhart QC & Kristina Montgomery QC appointed to the Circuit Bench

St Philips Chambers are delighted to announce that Andrew Lockhart QC and Kristina Montgomery QC have both been appointed to the Circuit Bench.

Andrew was called to the Bar in 1991, appointed a Recorder in 2005 and took Silk in 2010. During his time at the Bar Andrew built himself  a formidable practice , regularly  prosecuting and defending some of the most serious and complex criminal and regulatory cases In the country. His Honour Judge Lockhart QC will be based at Warwickshire Justice Centre and Wolverhampton Combined Court with effect from 21st October 2014.

Kristina was called to the bar in 1993, appointed a Recorder in 2008 and took Silk in 2013. Whilst in practice Kristina became recognised as one of the leading advocates in matters involving children, vulnerable witnesses and defendants. Her Honour Judge Montgomery QC will sit on the South Eastern Circuit, based at Aylesbury Crown Court, Amersham Law Courts and Oxford Combined Court Centre with effect from 21st October 2014.

Both will be sworn-in before the Lord Chief Justice at the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday 20th October.
